I photograph what
makes me stop and
look a little longer.
I’m a California-based photographer with a lifelong appreciation for the landscapes of Northern California and the American West.
My biggest artistic influence has always been Ansel Adams, not because I wanted to recreate his photographs, but because of his patience, craftsmanship, and respect for the natural world.
Every photograph on this site includes a short Field Note.
They’re not meant to explain the image.
They’re simply a record of where it was found, the light that was there, and whatever seemed worth remembering.
Thanks for spending some time here.
I hope these photographs give your attention somewhere quiet to rest.
